At The Laundry Craft, we believe there is a better way to do laundry, the TLC way.  A more valuable way where customers are earned rather than bought.  We're obsessively passionate about it, and our mission; Best Quality, Best Service, Best Practices, Best Value.  The end game is providing our customers convenience and more Me Time.

Our Founding

The Laundry Craft was founded by Steve in 2019.  It was originally a Duds 'n Suds franchise that was founded by Phil Akins in 1983 with the genesis of offering beer, pool tables and televisions as a way to pass time while doing laundry.  We rebranded by modernizing the store, machines, technology, music and noticed an opportunity to expand our services to the community focused on self-service laundry, in-store drop-off services, pickup & delivery services, dry cleaning and commercial laundry with the goal in mind of creating a seamless process and positive environment for all.

To Infinity and Beyond!

With our broader services in full swing and after a glimpse of demand for (quality, convenience and speed), we continue to expand    our reach throughout Kansas City with providing our own branded pickup & delivery app along with company delivery vans.  We stay up with current industry knowldege of laundry supplies, stain treatments, garment care and technology to better serve our customers.
